Illionaire AW10 – Oblivious

The guys from Illionaire have done it again… a hot little capsule range of stunning dresses for the girls, and some unique items for the guys. Illionaire have been getting their fair share of press lately and we can see why with some of the pieces shown below. The digital silk prints that they are known for make the All the Fuss Frock a statement dress, and we are loving the cutout details of the On the Avenue Frock. Womens range is due into store soon and available for pre-order, with Mens range dropping later in the season. For the guys we are loving the double breasted blue shirt and the leather jacket is hot!

Beat Poet AW10 – Zero Form

We have started getting the first of Beat Poet’s new winter collection in store, and we just had to share these beautiful images from their campaign shoot from photographer Nigel Lough. As per usual the guys have included exquisite tailoring, smart shirting, warm coats, and great accessories. All set against some an amazing urban landscape.

The Cassette Society AW10 – Why Can’t I Be You?

The upcoming collection from The Cassette Society has us living in an era when Madonna was “Desperately Seeking Susan”! It has the right mix of punk and goth while keeping an on trend and light hearted feel. There are touches of lace, stripes, zips, safety pins, velvet and floral prints. We are loving a lot from this collection, but special mention goes to the velvet dress with structured shoulders which will give you a look straight off the runway without the price tag! And what’s not to love about the rock and roll knit?!

Who Am Eye AW10 – For Glory or Death

Johnny and Glenn, the Melbourne duo behind label Who Am Eye, have titled their upcoming collection “For Glory or Death”. The collection explores miliarty style jackets and combat pants, with their signature aesthetic of ultra skinny bottoms with jeans and tights, and long, baggy, slimline and asymmetrical tops. With a monochromatic colour scheme with touches of olive green, the collection starts arriving at Pitbull Mansion in coming weeks!

Ed & James from Beat Poet are going from strength to strength… with a highly acclaimed show at RAFW in 2009, and winning Designer of the Year at the esteemed GQ Man of the Year awards. Their winter collection titled “Fragments” is inspired by “Pure geometry, modern and ancient collapse in zen fragments”. Kat Grace, the mastermind behind Illionaire, is releasing her own diffusion line this winter called Tonight. And Pitbull Mansion have jumped on board for her debut collection, featuring the usual mix of hot party dresses she is known for, but at pleasing wallet-friendly prices. We are loving the vibrant colours and prints, and of course… the little black dress. First series shown below will be the first drop in stores, and the second series will be the second drop.

Chronicles of Never AW10: Brave New World

Here’s a sneak preview from the Chronicles of Never winter lookbook. The usual moody styling by Gareth… this season sees some great plays with fabric. Think army blankets, wool, and lambskin in the usual monochromatic colour scheme, but with touches of bone, brown and cream. We are absolutely in love with the cream coloured crinkled leather jacket which comes in the signature 2nd skin style, but also a cropped version for the girls called 5th skin. There are also the usual sought after foot wear styles, printed tees, and denim… but it is the directional pieces such as drapey vests, jackets, and ponchos that stands this ever growing label apart from the pack.
